Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Arriving in Kigali, you’ll be greeted by your guide and taken on a brief city tour, including a visit to the Genocide Memorial, a poignant part of Rwanda’s history. After a lunch in Kigali, you’ll head to Volcanoes National Park, where the stunning views of the five volcanic peaks await. Arrive at your lodge, unwind, and enjoy a leisurely dinner to start your journey.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After a hearty breakfast, head into Volcanoes National Park to begin your mountain gorilla trek. The hike through the dense jungle, though challenging, will be incredibly rewarding once you come face to face with these incredible creatures. The experience of seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. After a magical encounter, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3: Dian Fossey Tomb Trek & Lake Kivu

Start the day with a trek to the Dian Fossey Tomb, a fascinating and moving site dedicated to the legendary primatologist. The trek will take you through beautiful forest scenery and could provide sightings of forest elephants, primates, and various bird species. Later, head to Lake Kivu, where you can relax by the tranquil waters and enjoy the serene beauty of one of Africa’s highest lakes. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Lake Kivu to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today is another opportunity for an unforgettable gorilla encounter as you venture deep into Bwindi’s rainforest in search of mountain gorillas. Day 6: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe Airport & Fly to Nairobi, Kenya - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, head to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, your driver will take you to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive in the park, then return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 8: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. Enjoy lunch en route, and upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive. After breakfast, embark on the drive to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Along the way, cross the border at Isibania, where you’ll complete visa formalities. Continue into Serengeti, enjoying an en-route game drive. Once you arrive, settle into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
