Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Warm Welcome & Market Exploration

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the afternoon visiting local markets and the Cultural Heritage Centre, getting a vibrant introduction to Tanzanian art and crafts. Evening welcome dinner with traditional cuisine.

Day 2: Arusha to Mto wa Mbu – Multiethnic Village & Artisan Workshops

Drive about 1.5 hours to Mto wa Mbu, a melting pot of ethnicities including Iraqw, Maasai, and others. Visit artisans creating traditional crafts like basket weaving, pottery, and wood carving. Participate in a hands-on cooking session with local women and take a nature walk around the wetlands near Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu to Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Immersion
